This is
the re-launch of Slots New?. In the 1990's Slots New? was published
each month as a news letter to pass on information concerning slot car racing at a
local track in Clinton, MS. This blog will present
information concerning slot car racing in several locations around
the South. You can expect news from various
raceways, information on the classes they are running, their race
schedule, race results from the past month, and any special events coming up in the near future. Slots New? will still be available by email as a monthly newsletter by contacting slotsnewmonthly@gmail.com and requesting it. This blog will report race results from slot car raceways around the southern United States as they are sent in to us. Also, there will be an interview with
a “Slot Racer of the Month”.
We will also be posting a Tip of the Month from a selected racer or our own experiences. There will be product reviews and a “Point of View”
editorial. It is my hope that this blog will bring the slot
car racing community closer together in the southern United States and promote visiting to different
tracks by local racers.
Slots New? is a blog reflecting on Slot Car Racing. Specifically HO scale racing. This blog will feature commentary, suggestions, interviews, racing tips, building tips, upcoming events, results, and anything that relates to HO scale slot car racing in general. We invite comments and suggestions. Suggestions on topics should be sent to slotsnewmonthly@gmail.com.
